Invited to a Climate-Focused event at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh

Today we were honoured to attend the event to commemorate the 100 Anniversary of the UK-Nepal Treaty of Friendship at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh.

The climate-focussed event involved discussions about the effects of climate change on biodiversity loss, glacier melting and changes in weather patterns that have been observed in Nepal during the last few years. It was also discussed how international collaborations, nature-based solutions and indigenous knowledge are essential to tackle the climate emergency. An inspiring event with an important exchange of ideas.

We were proud to represent Engage Nepal with Science and our work empowering schools and their communities with environmental education and  giving them a voice in the climate change debate.
