Rijan Maharjan

Rijan Maharjan, PhD

Dr. Rijan Maharjan received his doctorate in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science (2018) from Yale University, New Haven, CT, USA. He worked on the rheology of hard particle suspensions while at Yale, to develop a constitutive model of shear thickening fluids under impact. He is currently working as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at Phutung Research Institute, developing photonic chip-based Optical Coherence Tomography technology. His primary interests include mechanical design and fabrication, metal working, hobby electronics, and following motorsports.
