Dr Bethan Medina-Pritchard is the
Engage Nepal with Science secretary. She is a research scientist at the Wellcome Centre for Cell Biology (University of Edinburgh, UK) and works alongside Dr Alba Abad. She started volunteering in scientific outreach programmes during her PhD and enjoys interacting and talking science with diverse groups of all ages. She believes that public engagement is important to show that anyone with a curious mind can be a scientist.
