Suvechhya Bastola did her MSc in Biotechnology from Teesside University (UK) and is currently working as a researcher and a Lab Coordinator at the Research Institute for Bioscience and Biotechnology (RIBB), Nepal. She is RIBB’s Public Engagement Manager and she is coordinating the ‘Engage Nepal with Science' project and managing the Public Bioscience learning centre (RIBB). Apart from lab-based research, this opportunity of connecting directly to the community motivates her, and she is highly inspired to introduce innovative and dynamic ways of teaching science to teachers and young learners.
